Sign UpI moved to Japan in 2018 after majoring in Japanese language and culture at Edinburgh University. I spent a few years working in various Japanese offices before deciding to let the creative in me roam free as a freelance writer and content creator.
In the past few years I have discovered an insatiable passion for all things culinary, and I started my own YouTube channel two years ago. Originally the channel was about Japanese recipes, but I have now shifted my sights to where Japanese food, and anything related to food, is made. Think soy sauce producers, brewers, kilns, anything and everything. I have only just started this route but I have a good feeling about it all.
I've been in the travel industry since 2019, and know how to do my research to make a compelling story.
