Seeking food stories about Mexico City
Matador Network is seeking food and drink pitches about Mexico City. We’re looking for niche trip planning guides (like, for example, our Kiev guide to pre-Soviet era dishes and our legal cannabis guide to Barcelona) as well as insider advice (like our guide on how to book a cannabis hotel in Denver) and feature pieces about food culture (like our explainer of North Carolina’s barbecue styles).
We’re looking for stories that range from 800 to 1,000 words. Preference given to writers from Mexico City and those who have lived there for an extended period of time.
Send pitches to Nickolaus Hines at firstname.lastname@example.org. In the subject line of your email, write MEXICO CITY FOOD PITCH, and new writers should include their familiarity with the country and any previous food writing in the body of the email.
