REUNIONS: Travel Writing Competition Now Open
Summary
For the second and final travel writing competition of 2020, Intrepid Times has decided to explore something special: Reunions. As the holiday season arrives for many of us at a time when we may be unable to (re)connect with family or friends, we hope this topic will inspire you and help you cultivate a sense of hope.
Write a true travel story about a time that you have reconnected with people and/or places that are important to you. You can also consider a time when you “reunited” with a part of yourself you had forgotten or disconnected with. Feel free to be creative, and explore the theme in the way that is most meaningful for you.
Requirements
Criteria: Stories must be original, factual, and between 1000 and 1500 words in length. Entry is free, and the submission deadline in December 31, 2020.
Prize: One winner will be awarded a US $100.00 (One Hundred US Dollar) prize, paid by PayPal. The winner and up to three additional finalists will have their stories published on IntrepidTimes.com. Finalists whose stories are published will also be paid our standard writer’s fee upon publication.
